A while ago I painted this bat. At a time when I was possessed by the night and the night sometimes carried over into the day. Night is a natural time of passivity; we sleep and trust that the darkness watches over us. But sometimes you defy the night making you a co-player in the nocturnal game. With that, the role of the night changes.
